Communication Section
The NACC, through its communication section, coordinates communication activities in the HIV response. This coordination aims to create synergy between the different actors and optimize the use of available resources. It also aims to guarantee the coherence, complementarity and effectiveness of messages and actions for the prevention and control of HIV and STIs, in accordance with the objectives of the national strategy. It thus helps to strengthen the impact of the HIV response on the health and well-being of populations.
To ensure this coordination, the NACC organizes quarterly meetings with partners involved in communication activities. These meetings make it possible to:
- Develop the national communication strategy, based on the National Strategic Plan;
- Adapt communication plans to different targets and the socio-cultural specificities of intervention areas;
- Monitor and evaluate communication activities, by collecting and analyzing relevant data.
